A bullet pointed list.


  • I put on a pair of jeans this morning that were previously super tight/uncomfortable. They are now loose.
  • I made goal on Beth's Journey Diet Bet! I lost about 10 pounds in one month, woot. Started at 252.0, weighed in this morning at 241.2!
    Getting there... still have a long way to go.

  • I actually LOST weight over this holiday weekend.
  • I made an amazing Copy Cat Honey Baked Ham yesterday and the leftovers on top of a salad are freaking ridiculously delicious. I made this ham at Christmas, and will make it every ham-appropriate holiday ever from now on.
  • I am completely and utterly in love with water aerobics. I feel light and graceful in the water. Like the Little Mermaid or something.

  • My dog is cute as shit.
Don't worry, she got a pig ear and a taste of ham for the humiliation.

  • This is my submission for my work's March Mustache Madness contest.

    Hurray for losing weight over holiday weekends! I cheated and used the scale at my parents' when visiting and was expecting a very small change, if any (due to chocolate cake), but when I went to WW and weighed in this morning, I was surprised with a good loss.

    I love the picture of your dog and also your mustache submission. I'm probably dating myself here, but I remember when the finger mustache tattoos started coming into vogue on iam.bmezine.com. Still hilarious!

    Water exercise is great. I wish I could get more into it! I agree with your Little Mermaid analogy.

    I've been checking on your blog every few days, when I run across your postings on GOMI. Or should I say HOMI? Anyway, keep up the good work!

    You are absolutely not dating yourself; I used to have an IAM account back in college! Did you hear that the founder, Shannon, passed away recently? :( Apparently he was quite ill.

    Oh my goodness, really? I hadn't heard that! I'm going to have to google that. I was obsessed with IAM and BME from 17-21 or so, and that news makes me sad :(
